One of the largest organizations for judicial affairs is Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA). This organization is for higher education administrators who work directly with judicial affairs. This organization has over 1,700 members in North America and these members represent over 800 colleges and universities.
ASCA offers various educational opportunities to it's members. Some of these educational opportunities include: an annual conference, the Gehring Academy, and various professional development opportunities.
Texas belongs to ASCA District 5, which includes Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. In fact, Ryan Van Dusen (Texas Tech University) is one of their representatives. The Director-At-Large for Circuits 5 and 10 is Jennifer Hammat (University of Texas at Austin). If you would like more information about ASCA on a local level, please contact either Ryan or Jennifer.
