Submit an Article/Research Paper for the 2010 TACUSPA Article/Research Paper Competition - Papers are due April 16, 2010

Call for Papers: 2010 TACUSPA ARTICLE COMPETITION

TACUSPA members are invited to submit an article for the 2010 TACUSPA article competition. Submit an article from a class assignment, a research paper, or another endeavor. Winners will be published in the TACUSPA Newsletter, featured on the TACUSPA blog, and formally recognized at the 2010 TACUSPA Conference.

Articles submitted for competition should comply with the following six criteria:

•    Only one article may be submitted per member. Co-authored articles may be submitted.

•    Applicants must be TACUSPA members. Membership dues are only $20.00 for graduate students and $40-$45 for professional memberships. Membership application link - http://www.tacuspa.net/Forms/MbrApp10.pdf

•    Manuscripts should be approximately 6,000 - 10,000 words (excluding tables and figures but excluding abstract and references).

•    An abstract of 150 words or less, summarizing the main points of the article, should accompany the manuscript.

•    Prepare the manuscript, including page numbers, in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), Fifth Edition OR Sixth Edition.

•    Papers should be typed, double-spaced, and include 1” wide margins.

•    Articles will be evaluated by a blind review board. Therefore, authors provide identifying information on the submission form but not in the actual article. Authors should also mask any items of self-reference in their article.
